As Business Patrons of Meadow Well Connected, TLW Solicitors organised and hosted a Gala Dinner at Summerhill Bowling Club in Newcastle on 20th September raising a total of £2801.24 for the North Tyneside based charity.
Since becoming Patrons, TLW Solicitors were keen to put on an event like the Gala to celebrate the charity’s 25th Anniversary.
Guests enjoyed food from sustainable food initiative Ugly Duckling, entertainment from local acoustic musician Aimee Lambert and a raffle with fantastic prizes including sports tickets, food and drink vouchers and nights away.
All proceeds from ticket sales and raffle tickets went to the charity, to help deliver regular support activities in their North Shields community hub.
Ongoing Support
+ −TLW Partners, Peter McKenna and John Burn have committed to the ongoing support of the charity’s Positive Pathways project that arrange activities and events focused on wellbeing and reducing isolation and loneliness within the Meadow Well community. The project enables those in the community to have memorable experiences, such as trips to theme parks, the cinema, theatre and other attractions.
With TLW’s backing, including the sums raised at the Gala, Meadow Well Connected can continue to organise and deliver a wider range of activities, outbound trips and excursions, which had previously been limited due to prohibitively expensive transport costs.
Reflecting on a successful evening
